Stopped by a shop to buy a few  sejadah. Kitaorg beli yang murah je tapi its 2 sided so boleh pakai dua2 belah. Banyak benda nak beli kat sini tapi I don’t have enough money.  As usual, don’t get fooled by their sales trick.

This is my favorite snack of all time in Istanbul. We went to eat this stuffed mussels every single say.  Sangat sedap!

This is the closed up picture of the stuffed mussels. Dalam mussels tu ada nasi rempah. So when you stopped je kat orang yang jual ni, dia akan bukak mussels one by one, put a bit of lemon then give it to you.  Sangatlah sedap. Sampai sekarang aku still dok teringat.

Not far from the stuffed mussels, there are 3 boats selling the ever famous fish sandwich! Sandwich yang sangat simple tapi sedap. Kalo weekend, memang tempat ni pack sangat. We went to eat there twice. Haha, Most of our travel trip to Istanbul was filled with food.Actually,both hubby and I have a place that we really wanted to go based on our search.Nanti along the way I’ll show you guys the place.

It’s a simple fish sandwich.  1 grilled fish, onion and salad. On each table, ada a bottle of lemon juice and salt. Put that in the sandwich and you have the best fish sandwich ever. It does have a fishy smell to eat tapi once you letak lemon dah okay dah. Jangan lupa buang tulang ikan ni.

This is the spice bazaar.  I spent A LOT of MONEY in here. Rambang mata tgk all the spices.  There are hundreds of stalls in there but we only went to one. Kedai yang besar dari kedai lain.

On the way back, we stopped at Blue Mosque.  You’ll be amazed at the detailing of the mosque. It’s beautiful.

Anyway, from the Ataturk Airport, we took the tram to Sultanahmet. Time tu aku still pakai tongkat, the guy yang jaga ticket bagi aku free token nak naik tram. Kesian kot. Better naik tram, baru harga 2 lira sorang. Kalo korang naik transport, it will cost about 50 euro ! 2 lira baru dalam rm5.  Tram diorang lalu tepi sidewalk so you can easily hop on and off wherever.

We stayed at a small hotel at Sultanahmet road.  It’s quite a convenient place to stay as you can easily find food here plus the hotel is facing Blue Mosque. So you can just walk to Hagia Sofiya, Tokapi Palace, and few other interesting places. The hotel cost us about 36 euro per day.   Since it was winter, waktu siang was really short. Subuh pukul 6.30pagi. Sunrise is about 7am.  Zohor plak around 12pm, Asar at 2pm and Maghrib: 4.30pm! By 4.30pm, dah gelap macam pukul 8pm Malaysia. Sejuk sangat! I would usually go to sleep by 9pm. Sejuk and mengantuk sangat dah time tu. Jetlag as well kot.

Grand bazaar:

Don’t get fooled by the sellers there. Oh my. Mulut sangat manis and they will push you to buy stuffs from their shop. The moment you say that you don’t want to buy anything at they’re shop, they will automatically go into sulking mode and ignore you at all! Then terus silent mode and won’t even look at you anymore. I have never thought it would be possible to have that kind of behavior but i proved myself wrong!

Anyway it is my wedding anniversary today. 1 year. phew. Cepat kan! My cousins surprised me with an anniversary cake last night. Thank you so much!

We’re going for a nice dinner tonight. I am not sure where though. Better half won’t tell me but he has been giving out clues for the past few days. Surprise katanya. Hehe.

Bee, Happy Anniversary my dear best friend, my heart, my soul. I had a good year with you. Hopefully we will have thousands more of good year ahead of us! Love you so much.

This is for Lissa + Hasly wedding yesterday. Our first project ever! Thank you Lissa for trusting us to do this for your big day.  The theme was vintage/english style. So we came up with a wall with vintage frames.

Better half and Mada were the one doing most of the hard  work for the last one week. Thank you so much you both! I feel proud looking at our photo booth!

The whole wedding was decorated by Ren-da Belezza. It was beaaaaaaaautiful! We only did the photo booth and guestbook. Let me show you the pictures.

Lissa asked if I could do  guestbook as well. I had a wishing tree for my wedding so I thought, lets pour some idea on the guest book as well. So here is the result:

Bought the groupon coupon way before raya AIDILFITRI. It only valids till the end of November though. Our initial plan was to go right after raya and I even confirmed our booking etc before raya but God has a better plan for me.

Better half knew that I was feeling down for quite sometime due to the accident/injury. So once I can walk better, he bought our flight tickets and off we went just for the weekend. Didn’t go anywhere that much.Pegi mana semua naik motor and pegi tempat yang  easy for me to walk. Kat airport pon naik wheelchair! hehe.  It was nice to see Bali again. This time kitaorg pegi Tanah Lot naik motor! 2 jam baru sampai okay.Tapi tak jalan pon sampai ke tanah lot. bahaya lak ngn tongkat2 ni.hehe

This is our first trip together yang pegi jauh. Before this kalau pegi jauh pon, tak penah together.  Hopefully semua berjalan dengan lancar. Amin.
